A Mid-Week Ignatian Retreat
Monday 11th 5pm-Friday 15th August 2pm 2014
£300 residential inc. all meals and accommodation
The week will begin at 5pm on Monday (registration and refreshment from 4.15pm) and close at approx 2pm on Friday.
... a time to be quiet, to be with yourself and also seek to be with God, helped through meeting each day with a spiritual guide, with whom you can share your experience of being in silence and be given suggestions of ways in which you might seek to pray, listen to and discern your experiences, and pray imaginatively and meditatively with Scripture.
There will be time to relax, walk and be creative, in between times of personal prayer, silent meals and a daily Eucharist.
This kind of retreat can literally be ‘a treat’ because it offers time away from the normal busyness of life in a safe, caring, quiet space in which you can rest, relax and be renewed.
You will be giving God time and space to be present in His love, mercy and grace, and also be giving yourself time to listen and discern how God is with you.
Revd Graham Pigott is a retired Anglican priest linked with Whirlow Christian Spirituality Centre. He has had many years of experience being alongside others in their spiritual journeys, leading quiet days and individually guided retreats, as well as training others in the art of spiritual accompaniment. He is indebted to Ignatian spirituality for his own training and development and has a special interest in silence, art and spirituality, and contemplative prayer.

About Jane Lander
A recipient of much inner healing, my journey has involved me in evangelical, charismatic, contemplative, and Ignatian spiritualities. I was a Church of England parish worker, and am now a retired physiotherapist.
Listening, giving space, has become very important to me. I have had the privilege of ‘accompanying’ many folk in their unique journey with the Lord, (through spiritual direction, retreats, weeks of guided prayer, and Quiet Garden days). Having trained at Loyola Hall, it has been a joy to be a regular guest director there.
Gardening and walking are my main `play’ activities, with dabbles in creative writing and use of art materials.
